So, if you don't already know, this website is about raising awareness of music programs in schools and how schools are caring less about them every day. I believe music is just as important as any other thing we learn in class. Music even enhances education and can make you smarter. As a kid who loves music and is very passionate about things like singing, composing, and playing instruments like the piano, it was tragic for me to hear that they might stop music programs through my school. Coming to school, knowing that there will be chorus today, makes my day a million times better than knowing there won't be chorus today. Music not only has a huge effect on me, but many others who are just as passionate as I am when it comes to music. Schools can't just ignore the fact that there are students suffering just from the thought of having to go to school without their being any musical programs in their school-lives. That is why I have created a petition against schools closing their music programs. You are free to use this website if your school might close, or is closing their music programs.
