My name is Alia Haytham. I am in sixth-grade and I am very passionate about music. When I grow up, I want to become a musician, specifically a composer. I do many activities relating to music such as chorus, piano, and I've even done a bit of cello. I also like doing other activities that don't involve music, like swimming, gymnastics, rollerblading, and more. I really love art and I love activities as well (if they ever try to stop art programs too, I'll make a website just like this one). Doing activities and hobbies that I love really make me happy. They can change the course of my day to make it from the worst day ever, to the best day ever. I believe that everyone should experience their favorite activities, right at school. They should also be able to experience a great feeling inside of them, knowing that part of their school-day will be something they enjoy. This was my reason for pushing forward and making a website and a petition for music programs.
